Genuine OEM Porsche oil separator for Porsche Cayenne S / GTS 4.8 V8, 2008-2010, left side. Silver or black (silver shown), including hardware and gaskets. Has single port.Fairly common failure point on the V8 powered Porsche Cayenne models. A problem with this part car result in oil consumption issues, smoking from the tailpipe, potential idle issues and a check engine light. Part of the emissions system, this crucial item helps to separate the engine oil from the oil vapors in the crankcase ventilation system. Vapors are sent back into the intake manifold to be burned off. Full failure can allow oil into the intake and will result in oil smoke from the exhaust.
