The LN Engineering ‘Pro’ IMS Installation tool kit gives you everything you need to install either their dual-row IMS Solution or Classic single-row IMS Solution. This kit requires the new IMS bearing to be driven into the engine case with a dead-blow hammer and their bearing install tool. This requires experience and a steady hand. If the bearing is not installed in perfect alignment to the case it can lead to premature failure due to increased wear.If this is something you would rather avoid, we highly recommend the new ‘Faultless’ IMS removal and install tool kit. This tool takes away most of the ‘guesswork’ and chance aspects of alignment out of the procedure and provides a much more accurate alignment and installation process. Additionally it is required on the PRO single-row IMS solution kit.
