Labeled as an alternator impeller, but often described as the ‘engine cooling fan,’ this unit mounts on the alternator shaft and is crucial for proper cooling of your Porsche. If your fan is showing signs of cracking or damage, out of balance or has a failed bearing it can result in contact with the fan shroud and a variety of related issues. These take more of a beating than most would imagine, and we recommend regular inspection of these, especially if everything is apart for an alternator change. Once they show significant signs of wear and damage, it’s time to replace. Fits:

• 911 C2, C4, RS America type 964, 1989-1994
